Olla, LA Services for Bobby G. Tam, age 75 of Olla will be held at 11:00AM,
Saturday, April 28, 2007 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla with
Rev. Curtis Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in the Olla Cemetery.
Mr. Tam was born in Chase, LA
on November 5, 1931 to the union of William H. and Carrie Mae Crooks Tam and
died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Hardtner Medical Center
in Urania. He was a retired wireline
operator with Chevron Oil Co. and a veteran of the Korean Conflict having
served in the Navy. He was also an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and
fishing. Survivors include his wife: Mary Moffett Tam of Olla, his son and
daughter-in-law: Steven and Renee Tam of Lake Charles=
,
his daughters and sons-in-law: Leslie Ann and Chris Robison of Mocksville, N.C.,
and Laura Lynn and Jeff Bounds of Greenbrier, AR, his grandchildren: Kyle, =
Keely, Jack, Dash and Nate. Pallbearers will be Jeff
Bounds, Chris Robison, William Moody, Jonny Fryar,
Charles Wells and Don Corley. Honorary pallbearers are H.L. Weaver, Mickey
Riley, Keith Moody and Delmar Gilliam. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00PM
until 8:00PM and Saturday from 9:00AM until time of services at Riser Funer=
al
