Bud Kruse

1944-2007

Bud Kruse of Sedro Woolley, Washington passed away on May 29, 2007 at the Life Care = Center in Mount Vernon. Bud was born to Luke and Naomi (Royer) Kruse on September 6, 1944 in Modesto, CA.

From September 1961 until August 1965, he served in the Navy aboard the USS Henry W. Tucker. He married Betty Bliss in Reno, Nevada in 1995 after being together for 30 years.

Bud really enjoyed being around his friends and having people over for barbecues. He loved carving and working on the computer as a programmer. He also really loved his dog Sundii and is greatly missed by her.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents Luke and Naomi Kruse.

He is loved and survived by many friends and family including his sisters M= ona McQuerry of Oklahoma, and Dorothy Armeral and Kathy Walker of Oregon, three children: Gloria Elliott of Modesto, California, Gary Hobensack of Sedro Woolley and Tom Hobensack of Turlock, California, five grandchildren: Micha= el Brooks, Gusty Elliot and Gary Elliott, all of Modesto, and Michael and Timo= thy Hobensack of Turlock, California and two great-grandchildren: Amanda and Destiny Brooks of California and Oregon.

Bud also has numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him very much. He wi= ll be greatly missed by his friends and mostly by his family in the years to c= ome.

A service celebrating Bud's life will be held on Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 at 4:00 PM at Affordable Burial & Cremation Services, LLC. 17910 State Route 536, Mount Vernon.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Affordable Bu= rial & Cremation Services, LLC, (360) 424 - 1002. Cards of condolence may be sent to the family in care of the funeral home.
