 w:st=3D"on">Portage</st1:City>,&nbsp;<st1:State w:st=3D"on">MI</st1:State>=
</st1:place>.</span></p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>Bob passed January26 at age of 75. He was born to Robe=
rt L.
and Helena Madge (Ballinger) Bryan. <span class=3DGramE>March 28, 1932 in <=
st1:place
w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Kalamazoo</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st=3D"=
on">Michigan</st1:State></st1:place>.</span>
He attended Washington Junior High and <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName
 w:st=3D"on">Kalamazoo</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Central</=
st1:PlaceName>
 <st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">High School</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>, class =
of
1952. He joined the United States Navy and served on the USS Henry W. Tucker
during the Korean War. While in the Navy, he married Nola Jane Wells on
December 27 1952. They recently celebrated their 55th anniversary. From that
happy marriage came two sons, Steven Ward Bryan (wife Julie) of <st1:City
w:st=3D"on">Ventura</st1:City> <st1:State w:st=3D"on">California</st1:State=
> and
Robert Wesley Bryan (wife Jackie) of <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=
=3D"on">Otsego</st1:City>,
 <st1:State w:st=3D"on">Michigan</st1:State></st1:place>. Also surviving ar=
e five
grandchildren, Amanda, Elyse, and Michelle Bryan of <st1:City w:st=3D"on">V=
entura</st1:City>,
<st1:State w:st=3D"on">California</st1:State> and Robert and Renee Bryan of
Otsego, <st1:State w:st=3D"on">Michigan</st1:State> and two honorary grands=
ons,
Michael and Mark Beverly of <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Ka=
lamazoo</st1:City></st1:place>.
He is also survived by three brothers and one sister, Frederick Noah Bryan
(wife Linda) of <st1:City w:st=3D"on">Portage</st1:City>, Jack <st1:City w:=
st=3D"on">Wayne</st1:City>
<span class=3DSpellE>Schiebergen</span> (wife Polly) of Ludington, John Jam=
es
Bryan (wife Terri) of <st1:City w:st=3D"on">Fort Wayne</st1:City>, <st1:Sta=
te
w:st=3D"on">Indiana</st1:State>, and Linda Lou Hyson (husband Dan) of <st1:=
place
w:st=3D"on"><st1:City w:st=3D"on">Huntington</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st=3D=
"on">Indiana</st1:State></st1:place>.
Bob also had a close family relationship with his in-laws Pam and Bill <span
class=3DSpellE>Ingraham</span> of Texas Corners and <span class=3DSpellE>Cy=
ndy</span>
and Don <span class=3DSpellE>Verhage</span> of <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:=
City
 w:st=3D"on">Kalamazoo</st1:City></st1:place>. Bob was an inspector at Gene=
ral
Motors for 28 and 1/2 years where he was affectionately known as
&quot;BEAR&quot;. He was a member of <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName =
w:st=3D"on">Portage</st1:PlaceName>
 <st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">First</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on=
">United</st1:PlaceName>
 <st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Methodist</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st=
=3D"on">Church</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>,
Moose Lodge 88 and VFW Post 1527. In his earlier years he was an avid Golfe=
r,
Bowler and was a Coach with Parchment Little League. He recently enjoyed
watching his grandchildren participate in Band, Little League, Rocket Footb=
all
and School Performances. Visitation will be Tuesday, 4-8:00PM at the <span
class=3DSpellE>Langeland</span> family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E.
Centre Ave., Portage and 1-hour prior to services on Wednesday. Funeral
services will take place Wednesday the 30th, 1:00PM at the <st1:place w:st=
=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName
 w:st=3D"on">Portage</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">First</st1:=
PlaceName>
